Rock County, Wisconsin

Rock County, which is located in South Central Wisconsin is named for the Rock River.

It is a major county in terms of industry and agriculture, and is home to the Janesville-Beloit Metropolitan area.

The seat and the largest city is Janesville. Main Highways Include I-90/I-39, US-14, US-51, US-12, WI-11, WI-26, WI-81 and WI-67.

It borders Green, Dane, Jefferson and Walworth Counties in Wisconsin, as well as Boone and Winnebago Counties in Illinois.
